Lake Lessons | From Vision to Reality: Restoring Eagle Bluff Light Station

Join Chuck Baum, Eagle Bluff Light Station’s “Chief Engineer,” and Amy Frank, Executive Director of the Door County Historical Society, for an inside look at the restoration and reconstruction of this iconic site.

From early planning and fundraising to the final details, this program explores how the lighthouse, oil house, and privy were restored, and how the barn and summer kitchen were reconstructed. Chuck will share insights into the technical work and challenges, while Amy highlights the community support and vision behind the project.

Discover what it takes to bring history back to life—and preserve it for future generations.
