Occasionally, The Ridges has events with sponsorship opportunities for individuals, businesses, or both. Though we try to market those opportunities through email and social media, you can also check this page throughout the year for updates and special announcements. Festival of Nature
2027 marks our 25th Annual Festival of Nature! Even though the event itself takes place over Memorial Day Weekend, securing sponsorships starts months in advance. We are looking to secure next years’ sponsors by December 11, 2026. Sponsorship advertises your business among a diverse audience, with benefits including:
- exposure in 3,000+ printed guidebooks distributed March – June across Door County and beyond
- recognition in communications, participant merchandise, social media, and a dedicated web page (last year’s sponsor post received 1,000+ views; the website drew 5,000+ views nationwide)
- visibility at the Festival Dinner, where 200 guests see and hear your business featured throughout the evening.

Natural Christmas
This free community event is made possible through the hard work of our staff and volunteers. There are two volunteers in particular we would like to highlight: Jane Whitney and Julie Knox spend hundreds of hours collecting materials, planning, and creating the magical experience that is Natural Christmas. Please join us in thanking them. It truly takes a village!
To help us cover the costs of this year’s events, we are seeking Natural Christmas sponsors. Sponsorship at any of the three levels below will receive a Ridges Christmas ornament from our Nature Store.
Cookie Sponsor: $100 – Helps us pay for treats, beverages, and materials.
Ornament Sponsor: $175 – Helps us pay for the time that goes into planning and executing this event.
Wreath Sponsor: $250 – The ultimate token of gratitude to Jane, Julie, and their team of elves who make Natural Christmas the magical event that it is.
Business Sponsor: $500 – Use this opportunity to support our beloved holiday event while advertising your business name through listing in:
- 1 half-page Peninsula Pulse advertisement for the event
- 1 email communication to over 7,000 Ridges email list subscribers
- 1 Ridges social media post about the event
- on-site signage at Natural Christmas (over 300 attendees) and Wreath-Making (36 registrants last year) on December 12, 2026
