Lake Lessons | Lighthouse of the Lake

Join The Door County Maritime Museum’s Collections Coordinator, Brennan Christianson and Education Programs Coordinator, Andrea Stromeyer for an exploration of the rich history of lighthouses in Door County, with special attention given to the renowned Cana Island lighthouse. Curators will share insights into how these remarkable landmarks have played a significant role in shaping the peninsula’s history and continue to have a lasting impact on our culture today. 

The Ridges honors its history of accessible and impactful conservation education through Lake Lessons. These evening programs will highlight three different lighthouses around Door County and how their history has shaped the Peninsula.
