Earth Week: Roundtable Discussion on Reforestation

Join experts in the community for a roundtable discussion on reforestation and reforestation efforts in Door County hosted by The Ridges. Learn about the new Boreal & Temperate Mesic Forest Climate Survivability project on which Climate Change Coalition of Door County, Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership, and The Ridges Sanctuary are embarking and what it means for the future of Door County’s forests. Organizations from around Door County will also share their reforestation and conservation efforts.  This roundtable will take place at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall.

Roundtable speakers are:

• Ryan Nugent, Door Peninsula Land Steward, The Nature Conservancy
• Jesse Koyen, Conservation Director, Door County Land Trust
• Tony Kiszonas, Director of Research, The Ridges
• Katie Krouse, Executive Director, The Ridges
• Mike Grimm, Conservation Ecologist, partially retired from The Nature Conservancy
