Backpack Adventure Camp 2026 Registration Information

Get ready for Backpack Adventure Camp registration! These tips will help ensure successful registration on our new CourseStorm registration platform.

Registration opens March 2 to Ridges Members and March 4 to the public. Please renew your membership or check your membership status before registration opens so you can get the member discount and early access to registration!

Members will be emailed the special Early Access code on Friday, February 27. The subject line of the email will be “Early Member Registration: Access Code” from The Ridges Sanctuary. Be sure you are checking your primary member email for your Early Access code! Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive the email. Once you have your code, visit the following password protected page on The Ridges website to take you to registration. BEFORE clicking the button below, please read through our “Tips for Registration”!

Tips for Registration

1. Our CourseStorm site will have all available Backpack Adventure Camp classes listed. You can scroll down and navigate between pages to view all options. Each class will show the date, time, price, ages, and if there are a limited number of seats remaining. To register for a class, click on the class title.

2. Registering is easy! Once you click on an individual class and click “Register”, follow the prompts. Click on the “Add Person” icon to add a camper to the registration.

3. Follow the prompts for important registration information, including your contact information, agreements, and registrant birthdates. Why birthdates? We have some age restricted programs for children, including our Backpack Adventure Camps. CourseStorm helps us ensure that everyone registering for a program is in the program age group! When entering information for your child, you can click “use my contact info”. You’ll be the person receiving emails for this registration.

4. Review your order on the Check Out page before entering your payment. On the left side of the window, you will see everyone currently in your cart. You can always exit the cart and add more people or classes to the order! Confirm your order details, including the classes you added to your cart, by clicking “View Details” on your order.

5. You must pay with a credit card to secure your spot in Backpack Adventure Camp. We do not have the ability to reserve spots without payment.

6. After registering, you should receive a receipt email which will include the required forms for camp!
