Current Openings

Research Associate LTE

The Ridges seeks a motivated associate to support the Boreal Climate Survivability Project, a joint effort in collaboration with The Ridges Sanctuary and the Climate Change Coalition of Door County and the numerous Ridges Research for Restoration projects. This position is seasonal and contracted at 1,000 hours between April and October.

Director of Growth Initiatives

The responsibilities of the Director of Growth Initiatives will aid in the overall growth of the organization. Through fundraising, communications and engagement this role will focus on developing strategies and building relationships to drive the overall success and health of The Ridges. The Director of Growth Initiatives will work with Ridges staff to identify and establish growth opportunities organization wide. Full-time, Exempt

Marketing Assistant

The responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant will aid in the marketing and storytelling of The Ridges Sanctuary and its programs and activities. Through external and internal communication this position will help engage our constituents of all ages and promote this special place for all to enjoy. The Marketing Assistant will work with Ridges staff to facilitate content throughout the calendar year. Part-time, 20 hours per week, year-round.

Summer Naturalist Intern

The primary responsibilities of the Summer Naturalist will be developing and leading educational programs for The Ridges Backpack Adventure Camps, leading guided hikes for adults and families, and to assist visitors at the Nature Center and along the trail. Other experiences include weekly immersion into the operations of the Organization including our Orchid Research Project, Land Management, and other special projects throughout the summer. Seasonal, 40 hours per week.
