September 18 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Planting Day at Logan Creek Plot 5
Join us at Logan Creek parking lot at 10:00 am – noon for the Boreal Climate Survivability Tree Planting project, a collaboration between the Climate Change Coalition of Door County and The Ridges Sanctuary. We will be working within Plot 5, located along the Lower Trail, about a 1-mile hike out and back. This plot is forested and has downed logs and some uneven terrain. We will provide planting tools; however, come prepared to get dirty! We recommend bringing your own gloves, sun protection, water and a snack. The Boreal Climate Survivability project is part of a long-term study to track forest changes over time.
Please contact Victoria Holderer (victoria@ridgessanctuary.org or 920-839-2802 x113) with any questions or to participate!
