Planting Day at Appels Bluff

Join us at Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center parking lot at 10:00 am for the Boreal Climate Survivability Tree Planting project, a collaboration between the Climate Change Coalition of Door County and The Ridges Sanctuary. Please arrive punctually, since we will be carpooling to Appels Bluff for this planting. This plot requires a 2-mile hike out and back. We will provide planting tools however, come prepared to get dirty! We recommend bringing your own gloves, sun protection, water and a snack. The Boreal Climate Survivability project is part of a long-term study to track forest changes over time.

Please contact Victoria Holderer (victoria@ridgessanctuary.org or 920-839-2802 x113) with any questions or to participate!
