Parts of our Sanctuary will be open for deer hunting from Nov. 23–Dec. 1, with rustic trails on all properties closed during this time. Hunters and trappers must register with the Ridges. Note for visitors: Hidden Brook and Range Light Boardwalks will remain open dawn to dusk. Blaze orange is mandatory.

Path to Fisheries Research and Management with Hickey Bros Research

Join Hickey Bros on an exploration into operational expertise in fisheries assessment and data collection, as well as expanding research projects that Hickey Bros Research, LLC completed locally and across the inland Northwest. Hickey Bros Research, LLC has longstanding professional relationships with state, federal, and tribal agencies focusing on fisheries research. Learn about their objective to collaborate with the scientific community to assist in managing invasive species and restoring native ecosystems to continue the commercial fishing tradition in Door County and further the Wisconsin waters of Lake Michigan.

The Ridges honors its history of accessible and impactful conservation education through Lake Lessons. These Thursday evening programs feature topics about the Great Lakes and surrounding habitats. Lake Lessons are free, and held from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center
