Jone Kiefer

Jone Kiefer has a Master of Arts degree in Education from National Louis University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from UW-Green Bay. She recently retired with more than 25 years of experience as an educator in the Madison Metropolitan School District. Jone is drawn to The Ridges because it values environmental sustainability and seeks to enhance the well-being and knowledge of people who interact with nature. She currently serves as chair of the Education and Programming Committee.

Appointed to the board in October of 2022, Jone is serving the third year of her first three-year term.
