Planting Day at Family Discovery Trail

Join us at our Family Discovery Trail parking lot at 10:00 am – noon for the Boreal Climate Survivability Tree Planting project, a collaboration between the Climate Change Coalition of Door County and The Ridges Sanctuary. We will be working within Plot 2, about a 1-mile hike out and back, located within the meadow along the red trail. We will provide planting tools however, come prepared to get dirty! We recommend bringing your own gloves, sun protection, water and a snack. The Boreal Climate Survivability project is part of a long-term study to track forest changes over time.

Please contact Victoria Holderer (victoria@ridgessanctuary.org or 920-839-2802 x113) with any questions or to participate!
