Are you looking for a nature immersion experience for your homeschooler to supplement their learning? The Ridges Sanctuary presents: Ridges Forest School. This program is specifically designed for homeschool students ages 6-9.
"When deciding to relocate to Door County in 2023, opportunities for our homeschooled children were a top priority for my husband and I. The Ridges Forest School program encompassed many of our values and desires for our son’s education and has been a significant component of his learning experiences thus far. He has grown exponentially through his first year of Forest School. Building confidence, getting creative, problem solving, and learning to be a trustworthy and valued member of a community with his peers. We see him light up and get excited to immerse himself in new experiences and into nature each day. His connection to the natural world and his deepened appreciation for stewardship and conservation of the environment has been a gift to witness. We are looking forward to another Forest School year and are thankful to The Ridges Leadership for their commitment to providing accessible educational opportunities to the community.
