In addition to learning about the Sanctuary\, explore blooming species\, why orchids love the ridge and swale habitats\, and current research efforts at The Ridges.   \n\n\n\nThis 90-minute guided hike includes a tour of our Upper Range Light\, which has been restored to the period of the last Range Light Keeper. Suitable for all ages.  \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Program takes place outside on boardwalk and rustic trails. Accessible parking is available. DESCRIPTION:May Early Bird Hikes\n\n\n\nHead out with The Ridges’ Ornithologist to find migrating birds. In May\, meet at Peninsula State Park’s Weborg Point (by the restrooms); a daily/annual park pass is required. Bring binoculars; a limited quantity is available! Spring is an exciting time to be birding.  \n\n\n\nLocation: May: Weborg Point\, Peninsula State Park. Take the south entrance just past Fish Creek and head towards Weborg Point day-use pavilion.  \n\n\n\nJune: Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center (8166 State Hwy 57\, Baileys Harbor – at the intersection of Hwy 57 and Ridges Rd) \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Hike will take place on uneven\, unpaved\, possibly muddy surfaces. DESCRIPTION:May Early Bird Hikes\n\n\n\nHead out with The Ridges’ Ornithologist to find migrating birds. In May\, meet at Peninsula State Park’s Weborg Point (by the restrooms); a daily/annual park pass is required. Bring binoculars; a limited quantity is available! Spring is an exciting time to be birding.  \n\n\n\nLocation: May: Weborg Point\, Peninsula State Park. Take the south entrance just past Fish Creek and head towards Weborg Point day-use pavilion.  \n\n\n\nJune: Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center (8166 State Hwy 57\, Baileys Harbor – at the intersection of Hwy 57 and Ridges Rd) \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Hike will take place on uneven\, unpaved\, possibly muddy surfaces.
