DESCRIPTION:Night Hike on the Boardwalk!\n\n\n\nOwls\, bats\, and range lights\, oh my! Come explore The Ridges at night! We will learn about the creatures that become active after the sun goes down and check out The Range Lights at work as a navigational aid. (Please do not bring any flashlights\, light-up shoes\, etc. as we want our eyes to adjust to the dark and to be able to see just as the animals do at night). \n\n\n\nFee: Public $15 | Member $12 | 16 & Under $7; Pre-registration is required. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis program will meet outside of The Ridges Sanctuary Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center (8166 WI-57\, Baileys Harbor\, WI 54202)*. Ridges staff will provide all hikers with a red flashlight for the duration of the hike. Restrooms are not available on the hike. \n\n\n\nThese programs are offered Friday evenings in August starting at 8:00pm\, September starting at 7:00pm\, October starting at 6:00pm\, and November starting at 5:00pm. Please be sure to check the date for which you are registering. You are always welcome to call if you’d like to register over the phone or learn more about these experiences.

DESCRIPTION:Night Hike on the Boardwalk!\n\n\n\nOwls\, bats\, and range lights\, oh my! Come explore The Ridges at night! We will learn about the creatures that become active after the sun goes down and check out The Range Lights at work as a navigational aid. (Please do not bring any flashlights\, light-up shoes\, etc. as we want our eyes to adjust to the dark and to be able to see just as the animals do at night). \n\n\n\nFee: Public $15 | Member $12 | 16 & Under $7; Pre-registration is required. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis program will meet outside of The Ridges Sanctuary Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center (8166 WI-57\, Baileys Harbor\, WI 54202)*. Ridges staff will provide all hikers with a red flashlight for the duration of the hike. Restrooms are not available on the hike. \n\n\n\nThese programs are offered Friday evenings in August starting at 8:00pm\, September starting at 7:00pm\, October starting at 6:00pm\, and November starting at 5:00pm. Please be sure to check the date for which you are registering. You are always welcome to call if you’d like to register over the phone or learn more about these experiences.

DESCRIPTION:Bat House Building Workshop\n\n\n\nBuild your own bat house to hang on your property! The Bat House Building Workshop will start at 3:30pm at the Ridges Workshop. We’ll help you assemble your own bat house and give you instructions on hanging and maintenance so you can provide important shelter for native bat species! \n\n\n\nThe price for the Bat House Workshop is based off of the number of bat houses you would like to build. You will be prompted to enter the number of individuals building each box when registering. \n\n\n\nTo get to the Workshop\, drive north on Highway 57 from The Ridges Nature Center for 1/2 a mile. Turn right onto County Rd Q and turn into the first driveway on the right. Once in the driveway\, keep right to get to the Workshop and Cabins parking lot.  \n\n\n\n*This workshop will be in an indoor space with hammering and power tools.  \n\n\n\nFee: Public $45 | Member $40. Tiny Trekkers is designed to create a foundation of love and respect for the natural world. Active play in nature between caregivers and children provides lasting impressions. Join a Ridges Sanctuary educator in gentle hiking\, songs\, and endless possibilities for exploration and experimentation.  \n\n\n\nSchedule \n\n\n\nTiny Trekkers class meets weekly on either Tuesdays or Fridays from 10:00 am – 11:15 am. The class is broken up into monthly sessions\, running from September – May. Each session of Tiny Trekkers is 3 or 4 classes\, depending on the month and holidays. \n\n\n\nCaregivers should sign up for EITHER the Tuesday or the Friday class each month! \n\n\n\nCost Per Class \n\n\n\nCost per caregiver and Tiny Trekker (walking – 3 years old) is $40 per 4-week session and $30 per 3-week session. You must register for the entire month session. Siblings 4 and older are welcome to join as long as they are not disruptive of the Trekkers class. If a sibling 4 years or older will be joining you\, an additional $20 fee per session applies. SUMMARY:Tiny Trekkers | October (Tues) | Fall Changes
DESCRIPTION:Tiny Trekkers | October (Tues) | Fall Changes\n\n\n\nTiny Trekkers classes are designed to create a foundation of love and respect for the natural world. Active play in nature between caregivers and children provides lasting impressions. Join a Ridges Sanctuary educator in gentle hiking\, songs\, and endless possibilities for exploration and experimentation.  \n\n\n\nThis program is suitable for caregivers and children walking-3 years old. Programs are held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10-11:15AM. There is a new session each month consisting of 3 or 4 programs depending on holiday schedules.  \n\n\n\nClass will meet at different locations on The Ridges properties each week\, allowing trekkers and caregivers to explore new habitats. Every week\, the teacher will email all families registered for the class with the meeting location. Please check your email regularly for updates from Ridges teachers! \n\n\n\nCost per caregiver and child duo is $10 per class (must register for entire session). Siblings are welcome to join as long as they are not disruptive of the Trekkers class. If an additional child will be joining you\, an additional $5 fee per class applies. Please register all additional children (siblings) over the age of 1! \n\n\n\nThe Tuesday October session of Tiny Trekkers focuses on Fall Changes.
