These workshops will focus on local environmental issues and what landowners can do to better manage and protect their own property. Land Manager Sam Hoffman will lead discussions and demonstrate different techniques ranging from plant identification and invasive species control\, to promoting diverse wildlife habitats in your own backyard. In addition to learning about the Sanctuary\, explore blooming species\, why orchids love the ridge and swale habitats\, and current research efforts at The Ridges.   \n\n\n\nThis 90-minute guided hike includes a tour of our Upper Range Light\, which has been restored to the period of the last Range Light Keeper. Suitable for all ages.  \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Program takes place outside on boardwalk and rustic trails. Accessible parking is available.
