DESCRIPTION:Planting Day at Appels Bluff\n\n\n\nJoin us at Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center parking lot at 10:00 am for the Boreal Climate Survivability Tree Planting project\, a collaboration between the Climate Change Coalition of Door County and The Ridges Sanctuary. Please arrive punctually\, since we will be carpooling to Appels Bluff for this planting. This plot requires a 2-mile hike out and back. We will provide planting tools however\, come prepared to get dirty! DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED: Swales & Ales\n\n\n\nExplore the Ridges Sanctuary with Ridges Naturalists and discover what plants in and around Door County might be used to create different flavor profiles when brewing beer. After walking the ridges and discussing nature-inspired brews\, we will head over to Sway Brewing + Blending to learn about the beer making process. Program fee includes Ridges Pint Glass and Brewery pour.  \n\n\n\nPre-registration required. Must be 21 years or older to participate.  \n\n\n\nFee: Public $35 | Member $30 \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Hiking on boardwalk and rustic trails\, uneven surfaces\, tastings while on the hike. Walk to Sway Brewing + Blending after hike\, standing on concrete during brewery tour. Restrooms available prior to hike and at Brewery. Accessible parking available.    \n\n\n\nDistance: Approximately 1.5 miles  \n\n\n\nPlease note: this program has been cancelled.
