DESCRIPTION:Planting Day at Logan Creek Plot 5\n\n\n\nJoin us at Logan Creek parking lot at 10:00 am – noon for the Boreal Climate Survivability Tree Planting project\, a collaboration between the Climate Change Coalition of Door County and The Ridges Sanctuary. We will be working within Plot 5\, located along the Lower Trail\, about a 1-mile hike out and back. This plot is forested and has downed logs and some uneven terrain. We will provide planting tools; however\, come prepared to get dirty! We recommend bringing your own gloves\, sun protection\, water and a snack.  The Boreal Climate Survivability project is part of a long-term study to track forest changes over time.  \n\n\n\nPlease contact Victoria Holderer (victoria@ridgessanctuary.org or 920-839-2802 x113) with any questions or to participate!  \n\n\n\nAddress: 5724 Loritz Rd\, Sturgeon Bay\, WI 54235  \n\n\n\nDirections: Head south on Hwy 57 for 9 miles through Jacksonport.
