DESCRIPTION:Tiny Trekkers | October (Tuesday)\n\n\n\nThis program is for caregivers and children who are walking through 3 years old. Tiny Trekkers is designed to create a foundation of love and respect for the natural world. Active play in nature between caregivers and children provides lasting impressions. Join a Ridges Sanctuary educator in gentle hiking\, songs\, and endless possibilities for exploration and experimentation. \n\n\n\nSchedule \n\n\n\nTiny Trekkers class meets weekly on either Tuesdays or Fridays from 10:00 am – 11:15 am. The class is broken up into monthly sessions\, running from September – May. Each session of Tiny Trekkers is 3 or 4 classes\, depending on the month and holidays. \n\n\n\nCaregivers should sign up for EITHER the Tuesday or the Friday class each month! \n\n\n\nCost Per Class \n\n\n\nCost per caregiver and Tiny Trekker (walking – 3 years old) is $40 per 4-week session and $30 per 3-week session. You must register for the entire month session. Siblings 4 and older are welcome to join as long as they are not disruptive of the Trekkers class. If a sibling 4 years or older will be joining you\, an additional $20 fee per session applies. Please register all additional children who are walking or older! \n\n\n\nTrekker (walking through 3 years): $40 per session \n\n\n\nNon-Trekker Sibling (not yet walking): Free \n\n\n\nNon-Trekker Sibling (age 4 or older): $20 per session \n\n\n\nMeeting Location \n\n\n\nClass will meet at different locations on The Ridges properties each week\, allowing trekkers and caregivers to explore new habitats. Every week\, the teacher will email all families registered for the class with the meeting location. Please check your email regularly for updates from Ridges teachers! \n\n\n\nThe Tuesday October session of Tiny Trekkers explores Fall Changes. DESCRIPTION:Halloween Hike\n\n\n\nHave you ever wondered what might be lurking around The Ridges once the trails close for the night? Halloween themed stations along the Hidden Brook Boardwalk will highlight the creepiest critters that call The Ridges home. After you’ve explored the trail\, join us for treats\, a holiday story\, and a special appearance from Sway Brewing + Blending. This Halloween Hike is the perfect event for all ages (including adults!). Adult and child treat tables will be stationed on the front lawn to enjoy after your hike. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is not necessary but encouraged. Tickets can be purchased at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center upon arrival. Suitable for all ages.  \n\n\n\nThere will be a holiday-themed story hour on the front lawn at 4:30 pm. \n\n\n\nCostumes are encouraged!  \n\n\n\nFee: Adult $8 | Child $5  \n\n\n\nMeet: Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center  \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Evening/nighttime program\, outdoor program. Accessible parking available.
