DESCRIPTION:Guided Stargazing\n\n\n\nJoin a representative of the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society for a laser-guided tour of stars and constellations with some light-hearted mythology thrown in at The Ridges! A short indoor presentation will start off the evening followed by heading outdoors to see the sky. This program is a night-time program that will require hiking one mile on an uneven dirt\, sand\, and grass trail in the dark. Participants should be aware that mobility aids are not available for the hike portion of this program.  \n\n\n\nRedlight flashlights will be provided to participants.  \n\n\n\nPre-registration required. Suitable for ages 16 & up.  \n\n\n\nFee: Public $15 | Member $12 \n\n\n\nAccessibility Considerations: Night-time program\, hiking on rustic trails after dark. Trails are uneven dirt\, sand\, and grass. No mobility aids available for hike portion of the program. Standing required for stargazing portion after hike. Laser will be used for pointing out stars and constellations. Restrooms not available during outdoor portion of program. Tickets can be purchased at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center upon arrival. Restrooms are not available on the hike.  \n\n\n\nThese programs take place on Friday evenings\, with start times that shift earlier each month: 8:00 pm in August\, 7:00 pm in September\, 6:00 pm in October\, and 5:00 pm in November.
