FAMILY FRIENDLY

Sanctuary Guided Hikes: Offered Monday - Saturday at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, May - August.

We’ll head out on the trails to learn about the history of The Ridges, the unique features of the sanctuary habitats, and what makes the sanctuary the most biologically diverse area in Wisconsin! This two-hour guided hike includes a tour of our Upper Range Light, which has been restored to the period of the last Range Light Keeper. Suitable for all ages.  

Fee: Public $10, Member $7, 16 & Under Free


YOUTH EDUCATION

Forest School: Are you looking for a nature immersion experience for your homeschooler to supplement their learning? The Ridges Sanctuary presents: Ridges Forest School. This program is specifically designed for homeschool students ages 6-9.


ADULT EDUCATION

Specialty Guided Hikes: 

Early Bird Hikes: Saturdays in May and June, 6:30 AM | Meets at the Cabins at The Ridges, 8288 County Road Q

Logan Creek Guided Hikes: Wednesdays June 5, July 3, August 7, 1-3PM | Pre-registration required | Meets at the Logan Creek Trailhead in Jacksonport, 5724 Loritz Road

Appel's Bluff Guided Hike: Wednesdays June 19, July 17, August 21, 1-3PM | Pre-registration required | Meets at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center
